After the eruption, the caldera was formed by water and then filled into what is now known as Lake Toba. Pressure by magma that hasn't come out led to the island Samosir.
International multidisciplinary team of researchers, led by Dr. Michael Petraglia, revealed in a press conference in Oxford, the United States that has found a new archaeological sites which are quite spectacular by the geologist in South and North India. On the site it was revealed how people survive, before and after the eruption of the volcano (supervolcano) Toba in 74,000 years ago, and evidence of the existence of life under the cover of ashes of Mt. Toba. Whereas eruption located about 3,000 miles, from its ashes spread.

Spacious area with thousands of hectares turned out just the savanna (Meadow). While scattered animal skeletons. The team concluded that area is quite extensive, it turns out covered in dust from the ancient volcanic eruption.
The spread of volcanic dust was very widespread, found in almost all over the world. Derived from an ancient supervolcano eruptions, namely Mount Toba. The allegations led to the Toba Volcano, because it was discovered evidence form the molecule of the same volcanic ash at 2100 points. Since Caldera crater which is now Lake Toba in Indonesia so, up to 3000 miles, from the source of the explosion. Even that surprisingly enough, it turns out the spread of dust it up recorded up to the North Pole. This reminds the experts, how fierce the eruption of a super volcano Toba at that time.
